形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stems to 100 cm tall, procumbent or erect, suffrescent at base, densely farinose; branches ascending, angled.
• Leaves alternate or lower ones subopposite, ovate to trullate, 1-4 cm long, 7-18 mm wide, obtuse to mucronulate at apex, cuneate at base, entire.
• Plants monoecious; staminate inflorescence a terminal densely packed spike, ca. 1 cm long; tepals 5, obovate; stamens 5; pistillate inflorescences smaller spikes clustered into a panicle.
• Utricles sessile, fascicled, bracts compressed, trullate-rhombic, 6-9 mm long, more or less toothed at base, connate only at base.

分布

• 台灣 : common on sandy beaches in the southern part of the island and in the Penghu islands.
• 世界 : Southeastern China (Fukien) and the Ryukyus?.
